A Labor of Love π
It all started when my daughter-in-law was pregnant with Levi. As a soon-to-be grandma, I dreamed of stories I could share with my grandbaby. What began as a simple idea, fueled by my walks with Levi in our creek on our property and his love of the water, grew into a magical world of River Friends - characters who teach us about kindness, acceptance, and the beauty of being different.

Each illustration took hours of love and care - from the initial pencil sketch to the final digital coloring in Photoshop. Every character was drawn by hand with grandbabies in mind! π

From Concept to Creation
The River Friends series began as a dream when Levi was just a tiny baby. I wanted to create stories that would teach him about kindness, acceptance, and the beauty of being different. It took me 2.5 years to learn digital illustration, figure out Amazon KDP, and bring these characters to life!
