When the sugar is applied to the skin, it seeps into the hair follicles. This "lubricates" the hair, which allows the hairs to "glide" out more comfortably and gently.
This is the biggest contributor to the "less pain than waxing" factor. This method also minimizes any redness, irritation, hair breakage and ingrown hairs. All this while simultaneously exfoliating dead skin cells!

Leg Sugaring

  • Preparation Tips:
    • Exfoliate your legs gently 48 hours before sugaring to remove dead skin cells.
    • Trim the hair to about 1/8 inch in length to ensure the paste can grip effectively.
  • Technique Tips:
    • Work from the bottom of your leg up towards the knee for better control and comfort.
    • For better grip, apply a thin layer of cornstarch to the skin before applying the paste to prevent stickiness.
    • Stretch your skin slightly as you pull the sugaring paste to reduce discomfort.
  • Aftercare:
    • Use an aloe vera gel or herbal lotion to soothe the skin afterward.
    • Avoid sun exposure or hot showers immediately after sugaring.
    • Moisturize your legs after a day or two to keep the skin hydrated and smooth.
